Inspiration for Escape to Kuwait
I lived and worked in Kuwait from mid-September 2019 until mid-July 2020. Life there was so different from either North America or Europe that I was inspired to set a novel there, despite my general preference for creating my own worlds. All of the pictures on this page are my own.
LIVING – When I was first in Kuwait, I lived at the luxury Radisson Blu Hotel. Later I moved into an apartment. Both are featured as residences for my MC, Kate Killian.
